Parents, we've finished our Community Helpers book. I've sent them home with your child, and now we've started our science books. We'll be learning about our 5 senses, weather, domestic and wild animals, and life in and at the ocean.
Your children have really excelled in phonics and are becoming great readers. I've sent home some of their reading books. Please read to them and have them read to you. They love showing off their newly acquired skill. Studies show that reading to your child greatly helps them to become good readers.
Thank you for your Valentine's donations! We had a wonderful little party and a great day.
