Assignments
- 4th, 5th and Sixth Grades

Latin I  -Review amo and sum chants; review word lists 1-3. We are beginning to learn to translate the verbs in lists 1-4 by looking at their present tense endings (o...s...t...mus...tis...nt). Memorize o,s, t chant. In workbook, complete Weekly Worksheet 2, A (the chant boxes only), B, C, E, and F.  Exercise F can be in pencil or in color. Markers may bleed through, so using colored pencils is recommended. : ) Due on Friday.

Latin II - Memorize the 1st declension chant in Lesson 10 (a, ae, ae...) and the 2nd declension chant in lesson 11 (us, i, o, ...). Study list 11 words. Test on words on Tuesday, 1-31.

Latin III  -  Test on Weekly Worksheet 17 on Thursday, 2-2.  Homework: brainstorm for derivatives for the words on List 18. Be sure to know the chant from Week 17 for the test.


                         
                                                                      Assignments - 7th and 8th Grades

Latin I - 
Review vocab words on lists 1-4; master amo; o, s, t; sum; and bo chants; WW 5 : memorize new words; complete exercises B-F by Wednesday, 2-1.

Latin III - Study word list 17 and complete WW 17, exercises A-D.


Latin IV - Test on WW 8 on Friday the 27th; test on all of Unit 1 on Monday the 30th. Begin memorizing word list 9.
