In September 5, 1989, the doors of Scranton Area Christian Academy (affectionately known as SACA) were first opened to educate children of all denominations. Later it was housed in the Clarks Green Assembly of God, and changed its name to reflect the community it was serving - Abington Christian Academy (ACA).
In June of 2016, the academy relocated to the Chinchilla United Methodist Church. The academy currently serves students in Pre-K3 through 4th grades and seeks to grow as an early education center, and to eventually add a middle and high school.
Throughout the last 30 years, ACA has been blessed to shape and be shaped by the students, teachers, administrators, board members and organizations who have contributed to its legacy. We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants.
